The Restore serves as an affordable resource for building and construction items and furniture, ensuring many of these items will be recycled instead of ending up in landfills.
ReStore accepts the following items:
- Appliances less than 10 years old
- Doors which are not twisted, gouged or water-damaged
- Electronics less than 5 years old which need no repairs
- Furniture free of tears, rips and relatively stain-free
- Tables not bowed or twisted
- Dining and side chairs must not need major repairs including re-gluing
- Lighting fixtures ready-to-use with no broken glass
- Ceiling fans in working order with all parts attached
- Lumber at least 4 feet long and not rotted, damaged, bowed or twisted
- Paint should be latex with labels attached and at least half full
- Tools in good working order with no repairs necessary
- Carpet free of stains and pet odor and at least 500 square feet
- Tile in usable quantities
- Electrical and plumbing supplies in useable condition
- Paver stones, roofing materials. landscaping materials
